Frequently Asked Questions

1 / What can I expect from a therapy session?

In therapy, you can expect a space that honors your pace, your story, and your inner wisdom. Our work is collaborative and shaped by your needs—sometimes that means exploring past experiences, sometimes it means learning to stay present in your body, and sometimes it’s simply sitting with what’s true in the moment. You won’t be rushed or pressured. Instead, we’ll move together with care, curiosity, and respect for the path you’re on.

2 / How long are therapy sessions?

Sessions are offered in 50, 75, or 100-minute formats, depending on your needs and preferences. Some folks prefer a standard 50-minute session for steady, ongoing work. Others find that a longer session allows more space to go deeper without feeling rushed—especially when processing trauma, working with parts, or integrating somatic practices. We’ll talk together about what feels most supportive for you, and you’re always welcome to adjust as your needs evolve.

3 / How do I know if therapy is right for me?

Therapy is for anyone longing for deeper connection—with themselves, with others, or with the parts of their story that feel too heavy to hold alone. Whether you're navigating trauma, attachment wounds, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, therapy offers a space to slow down, be seen, and begin healing at your own pace.

4 / How much do sessions cost? Do you accept insurance?

Individual therapy costs $160 per session and couples therapy costs $175 per session. At this time, I do not accept insurance in order to ensure that our work together is guided by your needs and not the limits of insurance companies. This allows us to collaborate without restrictions on the number of sessions, the type of treatment, or the need to assign a mental health diagnosis unless it’s clinically appropriate. I’m happy to provide a superbill for potential reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits. You can check your out-of-network benefits by clicking here.
